binary component (also: program component) - a component that can hold, preview or execute a binary file stored in any format or written in any language (e.g. DLL or EXE). Binary components make it possible to extend the range of applications of SuperMemo into any imaginable area


In SuperMemo15, I added a binary pdf file, which automatically opens when the topic with the binary component is presented. Is there a way to turn this automatic-opening off? it gets in the way of repetitions, if i don't want to do incremental reading.. if i hide the component I fear that I will forget the pdf completely..
