leaf (in the Contents window) - one childless element in the knowledge tree presented in the Contents window (an item, topic, concept or task in the collection). You can add new leaves with Add and Insert at the bottom of the Contents window, or with options on the Edit submenu of the main menu. See also: Building the knowledge tree
